20th anniversary of Harry Potter at the British Library
I had a wonderful evening at the opening night of the Harry Potter: A History of Magic at The British Library in London. The exhibition celebrates the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

I was thrilled to meet Eddie Redmayne, who plays Newt in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and is currently filming the sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. I also met Jason Isaacs, Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter world and captain of the Discovery in Star Trek.
We also celebrated the achievements of J.K.Rowling’s charity, Lumos. Since 2009 they’ve moved nearly 18,000 children from institutions to families and prevented nearly 21,000 children from having to go to an orphanage or institution. They’ve also trained over 31,000 professionals who support vulnerable children.
