Celebrating Mencap at Buckingham Palace
Mum and I had a wonderful evening at Buckingham Palace celebrating Mencap’s 70th anniversary with The Countess of Wessex, Patron of Mencap.

I’m very proud to be a Mencap ambassador. Over the last 70 years the charity has done amazing work with people with learning disabilities and their families and carers. I look forward to many more years working with Mencap to make sure the voices of people with learning disabilities are heard and that we can show what we can do.
The Royal Family are great supporters of Mencap. The Queen Mother charity Patron from 1986 to 2001. The Countess of Wessex became Patron in 2004. She is a wonderful host and it was a very special evening with old friends and new.
