World Down Syndrome Day 2019
World Downs Syndrome Day 2019 #WDSD19 was a great day. It was wonderful to see so many stories by people with Downs Syndrome on social media.
I joined my friends at Circus Starr, the circus with a purpose, wearing #lotsofsocks for World Downs Syndrome Day. Circus Starr are an amazing charity and I’m proud to be one of their a patrons.
I was interviewed on Channel 5 news with my mum, Jane. We talked about my career and dance performance at the Royal Opera House the next day.
“I’m trying to turn people’s attitudes towards people like us.”
Actor @sarah_gordy became the first woman with Down’s Syndrome to be awarded an MBE.
