“Last year the stage and screen professional, who has Down’s syndrome, became Mencap’s first celebrity ambassador with a learning disability; now she is breaking new ground by playing a character without a disability.” – Saba Salmon, How an actor with Down’s syndrome is changing perceptions, The Guardian

It was a wonderful experience working with Ng Choon Ping the director, Lee Matinson writer and cast: Melanie Hill, James Atherton and Kevin Wathen. I am going to miss them. Really enjoyed playing a character that drank and swore, had frustrations and dreams and wasn’t differently abled but just a member of dysfunctional family.
